The voice acting is so accurate that at 2:21 you can feel Lucrezia Borgia brain disconnecting when she realizes Cesare does not love her back.

Ezio Trilogy had one of the best storyline and voice acting in gaming history. What I am so impressed by is probably how Ezio's voice and behaviour progresses over each game;

From a hot headed young man screaming "THE AUDITORE IS NOT DEAD!"
To a mature Mentor, teaching his creed the only motto "Where other men blindly follow the truth, remember: Nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality and law, remember: Everything is permitted."
And ending it with an old yet strong, humble and wise man who decided that he has seen enough for one life. We miss those character developments and story writings, Ubisoft. Fighting gods is not what I desire.

This is what I miss the most from the old AC games - the drama, the atmosphere, the acting... just brilliant storytelling overall. It gets you captivated and even if the gameplay is old, they still hold up because of the immersive storytelling.

It's not just the voice acting. The writing, the animations, the art design. All of it is impeccable, yet have completely disappeared from modern AC games, which feel so lifeless, stiff, fake. Where did Ubisoft go so wrong?

I love the camera movements. The light shake, the delayed camera panning, the slight off center. It really makes you feel like you are peering into the memory of an event.

I will always remember playing this game with my brother, who is now a doctor in history, climbing up the tower and watching them kiss and ask to my brother "They're cute, aren't they?".
Him answering: "They're siblings" is still a priceless memory.

I love how the Father is just familiar with how batshit insane he was and accurately guessed which dramatic expression he's gonna use and how he can use it to kill him.

I always liked Rodrigo/Alexander VI as an AC villain. Even though he was a bloodthirsty tyrant falsely convinced of his own greatness, he was an efficient pragmatist. If someone couldn’t do it for him, he did it himself. He acknowledged failure, and expected others to take responsibility for theirs. He prepared and acted with deliberation. He respected his enemies. A very good bad guy all around.

Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood embody everything that has been missing from the franchise the past decade. It is a shell of itself at this point. Thanks for uploading this scene, so nice to be reminded of this terrific game!

God, I forgot how the dude eating the apple after stating he's gonna use the Piece of Eden was actually genius. That was damn clever.

This entire scene is so juicy! The constant shots of the apples on the forefront of every scene at the start is such a nod to Hitchcock. The lingering look he gives Cesare after he took a bite of the apple. Suddenly Queen comes in, camera zooms in, POISON you say?? Oh the drama! The theatrics! I wish they do these kind of shots in newer games.😭

I'm not sure what's worse, the thought of him actually loving his sister in that way, or him using his sister out of pure desire.

I love Rodrigo putting his spoilt brat of a son in his place. "Mate, you killed the guy's uncle and destroyed basically his new home... WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN?!"
Also, when Rodrigo begins berating Cesare, he looks like he's going to burst into tears.
