Every morning right before work, I would watch an inspirational video to pump me up for the day.

Today was very different. This video hit me hard like a train. In a matter of a few seconds, I teared up. A few minutes later, I bawled my eyes out. The story that was shared here hit close to home. My family was an immigrant from Vietnam in the late 1980s. Our family was torn apart by the war. But through all the circumstances, it lead us to America, which later became my new home. I grew up without all the things I wanted as a child. But my mother provided for my siblings and I all the things we needed to have the chance at success in life. An opportunity at education, had food on the table, clothes on our backs, a roof over our head, and school supplies. She believed in us.

Here I am today, sitting in my office. Reflecting on my recent travels and music festivals I've had the opportunity to experience. Living a life I couldn't have imagined for myself a few years ago. My dreams of being an entrepreneur realized. And so many great things happening so fast. It's been a wild ride, and the ride is not going to stop anytime soon. My life has great purpose and it's exciting. And the best part, I get to help so many people along the way. It's a great feeling to be able to enrich the lives of the people around me.

Never stop believing in yourself. And help others believe in themselves.

I used this as the motto for my super hero story I've been writing "We all have abilities, when the opportunity arises what will be your response?" I know it's a question and most mottos aren't questions they're statements, but it works better when you put yourself in the shoes of a teacher talking to the future generation.
