I am 18 years old and currently work for a moving company. While I haven't had this job for very long, something that I really wasn't expecting to get out of it was having the privilege of getting to view so many different perspectives of many different people in some very unique situations. While the work is physically demanding and I come home from almost every shift exhausted and covered in sweat, I feel that I learn far more at work than I do in all of my current college classes combined. While one day I may be loading a middle-aged man's furniture onto a truck as he goes through an ugly divorce, the next day I may be unloading boxes into the new home of an old famous author who happens to also be a holocaust survivor. I get to see millionaires move from mansions to $5million beach houses just as I get to see middle-class folks move from one quiet suburb to another. One thing I'll never forget is how little a client's happiness has to do with the amount of money their house is worth. I've seen people move from small, 2-bedroom houses into even smaller, cheaper houses who seem to have very little stress or negative emotion at all. All this while I see millionaires breaking down in tears as they upgrade from one multi-million dollar home to another. I guess one lesson I can say that has been solidified in my mind through these experiences is that money means very little if the health and wellness of one's mind is left ignored. Do what makes you feel happy and whole.

I think being 25 nowadays is a worst nightmare you could ever imagine. You don't know what to do next or whether you have chosen the right path in your life.
At this age, depression, anxiety and all the pressure can hit you really hard, maybe harder than ever.

Rejection/failure is a always better than regret. I just made a video comparing a fully fulfilled life to an unfulfilled one and actually hearing all these people talk really helped hammer that it. Love the work you put in.

As a Ukrainian i just wanna say, enjoy every second of peace you have, you never know when everything can change and if you are able to just go drink some coffee in peace it's a blessing
Now when our lives have changed forever i feel very stupid about complaining and not enjoying some of the best days i've had
also, congrats on 300k !

I’d rather regret chances I took than regret not taking them at all

Life is a balance. I've outlived most of my friends. This makes me realize how fragile life is, and how precious each day is. Live as if this was your last year on earth, and at the same time, live as if you're going to live forever. Seriously take care of your health, buy a house, save some money, find work that you like but don't go overboard. Know that despite your best efforts, you can still die young. I've had friends who worked two jobs to "get ahead" and then died before they could enjoy any of it.

No matter what you do you will have regrets . It is about perspective and knowing yourself good enough to pick the path that brings you joy .

Sometimes I feel I get in my own way by being too stubborn to seek knowledge from the older crowd, because I feel that “times are changing” and some of their advice may be irrelevant. But there’s so much advice that has standed the test of time that I can learn from older people.

Regrets can lead to motivation for personal growth or they can take you down a pathway to depression and self-chastisement. How regrets are managed can make a real difference in terms of understanding and coping with these difficult feelings.

I'm 22 and I remember being so harsh on myself back in my teenage years because I wanted get good degrees all the time so I could get a good job.
I currently have a good job and I'm so close to finishing up college, but I feel empty, I regret haven't being so social and friendly and also not having much friends nor a girlfriend back in highschool. Life can get really weird some times.

Whilst my initial response to a question about my regrets would to be to list many things I should have done or said, after watching this video I've realised that my past choices and decisions are what makes my life so interesting and fulfilling now. The challenges I've taken on now, and the lifestyle I'm striving to build are a result of all of the actions I took in the past, and so I wouldn't change a thing. Great video, really thought provoking.

I'm only 15 but I like to look up to older generations that are much wiser than I am. This video makes me want to ask my teachers what their biggest regrets are. I really enjoyed this video Cole thanks for sharing! In my opinion this video is quite inspirational in a social way.

There was a study/ article I read a few years ago done by hospice nurses about peoples top regrets. I remember the top ones being -“ I worked too much”, “ I didn’t spend enough time with my family “.

34 here, the moment I started working full time I felt my life was over… and in some sort of way I was partially right. Despite having money and the security of a job, I had to end all personal relationships due to lack of time, on top of that I HATE my job more than anything, that really has to be an indicator of something. Now instead of focusing on what if’s I prefer to focus on seeing which other paths I can move to, away from a corporate life where I have 0 friends nor significant relationships but still have an income that allows me to live with dignity and a feeling of purpose.
