So that’s why he thought she said “moon” instead of “I like you” in A Silent Voice 😭

So that's why "The moon is beautiful" is an informal way of telling your spouse you love them

This one was even confused in a movie (a silent voice). Leading to an impactfull moment.

Shoko Nishimiya: SU KI (I like you)
Shouya: what a beautiful moon today

Is helpful for me. I knew that when Japanese say “suki”, They don’t pronounce the”u”, but I don’t know why. Now I knew it thank you!

I'm Russian and we have a sound "ц - ts" which is pretty similar so it's easy to pronounce for me but it's still interesting to gain insight into theary of it

It's way easier to understand if you don't think about it so hard. Your brain automatically can tell. Since you're thinking about it in the video, your nervousness of learning it is making it harder to hear the difference.

I’m learning so much from your vids! I wish I had this access to all this when I was in school. I would invest so much into multi language learning.
