The essex upright surprised me the most by far!

I confused the two uprights, but got the rest right. You could hear the clicking of the keys of the e-piano and the grandpianos have much more saturated and rich deep tunes than most uprights in my opinion. I am suprised how good the essex sounded.

Surprisingly similar, ePianos and Uprights really have improved a lot in the past 20 years!

That Essex upright is surprisingly good!

I just listened on my iPhone and frankly did not guess which digital piano was. It just proves to me that for casual listener it really does not matter much. It is different for those who play - I much prefer to play on Yamaha C7 (I use it a couple of times a week) than on my digital piano. I use piano VSTs (mostly VSL).

The Boston Upright is remarkable for such an instrumnet. The warmth of this Steinway D is unsurpassed.

The pianist plays every Instrument with such an excellence that it makes the task even more challenging! Even the lower end of the Instruments shines. There was a bit of Noise added from the loudspeaker when performing the digital giving a helpful hint. I was surprised to hear all Instruments at high accustic quality. Unfortunately my tablet is Not helpful to analyze more in depth. I really enjoyed the presentation . 👏

I liked the Boston Grand the most. The low range really has nice full presence. Great playing too! 🎹

The e-piano and Steinway were easy to distinguish from the rest, but I struggled to tell the difference between the uprights and the Boston Grand. Those uprights were better than almost all the other ones I have played on

For me, the Steinway D and Boston Grand piano was pretty easy. Especially the notes on the lower register sounded rich and full. But I actually had trouble with the e piano and the Essex upright - which I really did not expect

I managed to identify the e-piano but the rest was not so easy! The Essex sounded surprisingly good! Nevertheless, I think it would have been interesting to include a higher tier E-piano, maybe from the Yamaha CLP line of something of that sort.

Since I own a Steinway, I am thrilled I recognized it. This was a good exercise since I never heard them in comparison.

Buying a Steinway is easier than playing any piano!

Thank you!

To me it's not the instruments but the way you bring the sound of each to fore. You are just a gifted and amazing pianist that you bring out the best from all those instrument.❤

I was surprised by the quality of the Boston upright, I thought it was one of the grands. The e-piano was an unfair comparison at its price point. I'm an amateur pianist and I play a top-of-the-line Casio e-piano, with an actual wooden body and a keyboard developed by Bechstein. And frankly, in a blind listening test I couldn't tell the difference between my piano and even a very high quality mechanical upright.

First of all, I'm listening to this video on my Concert Grand 1-inch Laptop Speakers. So I got the Essex and the e-piano mixed up. But I correctly identified the Bostons and Steinway. The assertiveness of the lowest register of the concert grand gives it away. Great video!

I think is not a cuestion only of sound, the feeling of the keys in the fingers very underrated

The e-piano's sound is suprisingly good.

Ooooomg, I got everything right! The e-piano was the easiest to identify for sure. Both the Boston grand and the Steinway were so unique, with a stronger and more vivid sound, especially in the bass.
