In the third question where you have a square in a circle you can "move" it one to the left so that the center of the circle is 0, 0 and then multiply by i and move back 1 to the right.

Another way to solve the 2nd question related to equilateral triangle is by considering z1, z2 and z3 as cube roots of unity. Since they have same modulus equal to 1, and they create an equilateral triangle on the argand plane.That way you just need to sum 1, omega and omega^2 to get zero. I feel this is even more easier to understand.
