This is how I do it minus the bullion cubes. I just use water as I drain it for spaghetti or cabbage stews etc. Glad to see you doing it the right way. I've been seeing too many people using water bath canners on meat then trying to say it's what their great grandparents did so it's clearly safe... it's not safe and they shouldn't be showing people how to do dangerous things.

This is how I do it too, MR. Easy peasy shelf stable meat. I spotted the old Atlas jar. I have a bunch of them given to me by an older friend.😀 Thank you and blessings to you and your Family...

One thing I have learned is to slightly undercook the ground beef to prevent it being too soft and mushy. That helps immensely. Great video. Thank you!

Thank you for this! I need to try this. We always buy sides of beef. Recently, we bought a (live) beef steer from a local Mennonite rancher. We then coordinated with the butcher to get it processed directly. After all was done it cost us $2/lb. We have 3 boxes of burger in 2lb packs and 2 boxes of steaks all in clear packaging. We're set. It was about 500 hanging weight if I remember right.

Excellent idea and thanks for the tips. In an emergency I imagine even the puppers wouldn't mind this added to their chow if it came down to it since the flavor will still be nicely beefy. I'll have to give this a whirl sometime.

I canned ground beef for the first time this year. It was a lot cheaper than buying canned meat. I took a look at the canned pizza bean soup. That’s next on my roster. Thanks for posting it in the comments. As usual another great video. So far I like all that I’ve watched. Some I gave to ask my husband about as I may not know exactly what something is. God bless.

I do it the same way! I have about 50 jars put up so I can share. I call my canning “fast food!”😁

Thank you! Can’t wait to do this! I currently dehydrate my hamburger for future uses, but would love to have some in jars as well!

I love canning meat at home, it is so expensive (in a can/jar) that it makes it worth it. Bullion is a good idea...i'm with you, i prefer browning it first but no matter what it always tastes like sawdust but when used (in a dish) it works. I do a Chili which is mostly ground beef with home grown tomato sauce and a ton of spices...always pressure canned. Great job
