I've just purchased a Framework 13" laptop. The intentional design for repairability, upgradability, and its swappable IO are characteristics that sold me on the laptop.

I had the same one....used it for 11 years. Now instead of the CD player I inserted the SSD and it works with windows 10 like butter ❤

Old Dell laptops truly are unbreakable, I have a Dell latitude that is now 22 years old, and still works perfectly. I have collected many dell laptops since then, and I still have yet to see one of them fail.

I tend to agree, Dell needs to rethink their shit. My laptop only died recently, sucker survived almost everything. Was meant for Windows 7, claimed wouldn't be compatible with 10 and it was. If I had lived in the same city, I'd have sent it to you. I dont even live in the same country though. My laptop has 3 switches on the back for easier access. The battery is connected by a switch. one click it and drops right out.
