Every time someone who played on a Harry Potter film dies, it's like loosing 2 people at once, like you know who died in the books and then when it happens to their actors, it's hits home in a different way, I makes it more real. But then Hagrid never died in the books, but when his actor did I felt a sense of grief, though not nearly as personal as his family/friends, but I did still feel it

When Alan had passed I was 6 and he was like a father figure to me and no one had told me he died and then years later in like 2020 I found out by someone saying “R.I.P Alan” so I was obviously confused and then did some research and……..I cried my heart out that night (I still do) because no one had mentioned to me that my father figure had passed on 😢
