Civic CHECK FUEL CAP Error

My 2009 Civic Si Coupe displayed this "Check Fuel Cap" error on the center display.
The error is usually solved by tightening the fuel cap

open and close the gas cap with 3 click then start the car. Shut the car...disconnect the negative terminal battery, then positive terminal battery. reconnect the positive then negative....Start the car the Message " Check Fuel Cap" will be go away...( make sure you need Radio Code after you disconnect the battery....It might in have the serial number or code for the radio in the glove box compartment))))
Some newer Honda you might have to run about 3 day...then do the those step above...Good Luck...

Open and close tight again and give it couple of days.

Disconnect the battery for a couple minutes and then open the fuel cap and close make sure click. 3 times and star the car .
