Lymphedema at Night - How to Improve Swelling While you Sleep

Показать описание
Lymphedema at night while you sleep can be challenging. When lymphatic fluid gets backed up or congested, causing that body area to swell, this can be a sign of lymphedema. The goal is to get swelling out of that area and keep lymphatic fluid moving in the body with things like movement and exercise. But how do we keep things moving when the body is at rest at night? In this video, I will explain ways to mobilize and keep edema and lymphatic fluid moving while you sleep to help manage and treat lymphedema and swelling.

Get a rebounder(specific mini trampoline). Bounce on it without putting air between your feet and the rebounder. It works the entire lymphatic system in 2 minutes. Do this 3x’s /day.

Thank you! I’ve never heard of the MOBIDERM garment. I will look into it since I haven’t found a nighttime garment that’s comfortable enough to wear all night.

Hi Kelly this was fabulous information and presented in a very concise, understandable professional friendly way! I am dealing with compression garments because of a stomach surgery. Both of my doctors agree with you completely regarding compression garments... thank you for the compression referrals😅

My PT would barely interact during massages, so my learning about LE has come from internet Dr's. I've had such bad luck most of my life finding good trustworthy doctors. I need to find another PT. I'm between stage 1-2 and need help. I'm 73 y.o

Outstanding Kelly!!! I especially enjoyed your description of how the product works. Great job!!

Aside: I’ve now watched so many of your videos that one of yours is always the first video on my Home page, and, when scrolling through my Home page, many times the last 8-10 videos suggested are yours! Great for me!!

I live in the UK, where we are advised to remove stocking over night. When seeing treatments in other countries, it leaves one confused.

This is great and might be helpful for those who can afford it or get insurance to cover it, but also another vote for addressing more directly breast/chest/axilla at night please. What might be safe or advisable/not advisable? I would particularly like to know if there are options for those areas that don't involve wearing a full compression bra all night (like are there bandaging options for those areas.) For trauma & co-morbidity reasons, I'm having extreme difficulty with compression at all and k-taping also isn't viable for me (skin can't take the adhesive) so really wanting to look into "out of the box" alternatives to keep this from progressing badly. I can't be the only one in this or a similar situation. Thank you!
