Well now I need to go back there and finish the quest line. They incentivize you to do it prior, but obviously I duped diamonds to just buy it outright. Free 25k sitting there that I just forgot about entirely

You can screw yourself out of a possible 20, 800 Rupees if you buy all but one of the normally 800 Rupee items when they are overpriced and then heal the grandma, right? Does this only work if you go all in and buy all the items before healing the grandma? If so then yeah if you spend 25, 000 buying 5 overpriced items, then buy the one remaining at normal 800, that's 25, 800 spent, buy you get no reimbursement, and the items altogether are normally 5, 000 total. So you can possibly waste 20, 800.
