I think the jump out of the swing animation is just for when you would swing normally I don't think they added an extra animation for this case

It's a good game but it needs a lot more meat considering the sheer amount of things you could do in web of shadows and Spiderman 2. One thing that really ps me off is automatic wall run, it restricts gameplay.

The only issue is having to manually rotate the camera yourself - looks a bit awkward. It would be nice if the game detected you trying do this and re-aligned the camera for you
