I can confirm your suspicions. I’m just outside of Nashville…I live up on a hill and for some strange reason in this pocket there is no fiber option, so I use Verizon white cube. My speeds (location is ripe with towers) runs as high as 800mbps before getting slammed all the way down to 315-320ish. Btw tMobile which I had before this, for a while was 600-800mbps…then I think they also got wise and throttled down.

Great video as always! Cheers mate

The more I watch your videos the more I think I want to get the 4x4 MIMO antenna. I have T-Mobile with the Arcadyan gateway. For the first few days of our service we were seeing 250-320kbps down and 20-28kbps up but now, a few weeks later, we more typically see 100-180kbps down and 5-11kbps up. My gateway is connecting to b2 and n41. While I can see the benefits of the peplink modem I would not use its router at all (I have a Ubiquiti UniFi system with Wifi 6 APs already that I want to continue to use) so I just don't think I can justify the expense. I'm not afraid to take apart my Arcadyan so I think that if the antenna can increase our speed (especially the upload) and reduce our ping I would be pretty happy. I'm saving over $50/mo after switching to T-Mobile from Spectrum cable internet so the return on investment in the antenna would be less than a year.

Just the Peplink in this vid?? You have another vid coming with the Chester connected to that luxury liner 4x4 MIMO external antenna?

Hi Nate, which would you recommend for T-Mobile service, Chester RM520N-GL VS Peplink Pepwave Max BR1 Pro? Maybe you have a shootout coming for these?

Nate... Can you advise if the PepLink mentioned here has the upgraded X62 Qualcomm modem chipset.?? I've heard that Qualcomm is now producing the X62 and X65 modems for distribution and incorporation into 3rd party equipment. I would like to have a new, more future-proof gateway. Also, can you advise which products (other than PepLink) are using the new Qualcomm chipset. PepLink is outrageously expensive.
Thanks, Nate. GREAT stuff here.!

I got started in tmobile home internet and found your content and I got great results from switching from pole antennas to panel antenna. This is like a big version of what I have from my drone bin. I think I'm not getting 5g because drones use 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz antennas

Hey there! I just found your channel. Very helpful thank you so much. I have a question. I just started an at home job. I have to use my phone to make calls and my laptop to do zoom meetings. My dad and I are in an RV, having to move twice a year. We have alright cell service with straighttalk but not good enough to make calls. I can use the wifi calling pretty decent. And the internet at the RV place is spotty at best. My zoom meetings are not great quality. What setup would you recommend to be able to make better calls and have higher quality zoom meetings? $500 budget. Thanks. ✌️😁🤙

Hey Nate, great video. I want to order the pep router and 4x4 from waveform. What I need advice on is the T-MOBILE sim. I have the Nokia trash can now. Will I need to order a business gateway to make everything work, or can I still use my residential sim?

Hey @NaterTater. Would one of those cellspots from t-mobile be an improvement? I'm not too bad at about 200 down and 20 up. Just would like closer to 500.

Hey Nater! I have the Verizon 5g home internet with the ASK box that has a sim. I need antennas where I live. What modem would you recommend me buying? Basically just need the ability to add antennas

man some expensive equipment, I'm currently getting 200 download and 20 upload with my box sitting in a satellite dish on the roof in a weather proof box, do you think this is worth it?

That 30ft cable, don't you lose 1dbm per 6 feet? Do you think you'd get even better results with a shorter cable? (assuming you don't need to run 30 feet)

Hey Nater Tater, would connecting the mini antennas, like those on the peplink to the big 4-way, and then taping them to the outside of the stock T-Mobile or Verizon modem increase speeds? Basically, wouldn’t the tiny antennas broadcast the stronger signal directly to the stock internal antennas? Just wouldn’t want to take the stock modem apart.

Do you have to attach to the inside of the stock modem.

do you have to put the sim card in the pepwave router or did you just connect through wan

Do you think I can have the Verizon ARC gateway attached with the 4x4 mimo and then attached the gateway to a router via Ethernet cable to improve internet even further?

Nate, I swear I replied to my last comment on your last video about the Verizon ASK-NCQ1338FA, but yes I can confirm it is E-Sim. I’ve only had it for 3-4 weeks now, and the SpeedTests have been really good so far, but these new videos make me feel like I’m missing out. I have only had this service for about 25 days, and I’m wondering if there is a trick to getting the Askey or Arcadian gateways with a physical SIM? I am willing to cancel it just because I have a cable provider backup, but I really hate them 😂
