My secret for getting near GIGABIT Internet speeds with TMobile Home Internet without paying more per month. Works for me for rural off-grid internet in the middle of nowhere using Waveform Quad Pro & Mini 4x4 Antennas

Disclosure: Waveform provided me with these two antennas for this review. No scripts or requirements. All tests & opinions are my own. I have been personally using these for over a year & they are a game changer.

Now I know why my t-mobile phone can barely get a signal anywhere. This guy is using it all.

"Don't live liked this" showed 240 down and 7 up (with a 23ms ping). A year ago, the best I could get was 15 down and 1 up (two of us worked from home during Covid with that connection and we made it work.). I would have killed for "Don't live like this".
Then T-Mobile became available. Now I get 300 down and 80 up. I'm still on a high.
A few weeks ago, fiber became available. Damn, all these years with crappy internet and now I'm in heaven.

I used an older model from waveform for 2 years with my AT&T AWI and sprint hotspot. Total game changer.

I have the new T-mobile white router and ordered the Quad Mini to test on an RV setup. Haven't found much info on how it works for those on the go. Can't wait to see if this antenna helps! Thanks for the vid.

Thanks for this review my mom is considering getting T-mobile wireless service, but lives in a rural area & I wasn't sure there was a way to boost the signal speed.

We tried the att air, and it has been amazing. 35 a month for 5g speeds like our phones. Looked at reviews and was skeptical but so far it’s been great (knock on wood)

The newer, white T-Mobile gateway I got last month has external threaded ports for these antennas. it's a beefier unit than the black one I had that was failing intermittently. They upgraded me for five dollars plus tax. It's 5g only.

The T-Mobile App has a tower finder feature that lets you use the camera as a starting point for fine tuning antenna placement, at least for iOS.

In the T-Mobile app navigate under Home > Connection quality > More about connection quality > Launch placement assistant > OK, Let's do this > Skip video > Share location

You'll eventually get to a an interactive tower finder.

Just ordered Tmobile home. I had a crazy idea to throw the router in my junction box for my Helium miner (thats earning a few cents a day) and use POE to power the modem in bridge mode. Thank god i ran Cat 6. Fingers crossed it works and I dont need huge antennas - I think an outdoor placement with good field of view for the modem will suffice in an urban environment.

I use the Network Cell Info app and the Map tab draws a line to the cell tower that I'm connected to. It's been very useful.

Couple of questions. First, what is your latency? Second, if the small antenna can be used indoors with decent results, why not use the big antenna indoors?

Great video, I might try the smaller one on my Verizon just to see how well it improves my signal which right now is 300 down and 20 up

Would this help with getting better reception and less dropped calls in a building? In Canada with multiple different carriers?

@SilverCymbal, how were you able to get an internet plan with T-Mobile while living outside the coverage?

How did they not give you the modem that has built in external antenna support O-o

The thing that still turns me off is data prioritization where they will slow you down if demand is high for cell phones that are connected to said tower.
