I want to say thank you for everything you and your team at Snake Discovery do. This evening I went to the Snake Discovery zoo and I adopted Shadow the 8 month old bearded dragon. Hailey was so sweet and helpful when my girlfriend and I came in. She was very sympathetic when I told her about suddenly losing the special needs baby bearded dragon (not from Snake Discovery) I was going to be bring home next week. I gave Shadow the new name Phoenix. He's settled in really well so far.

When Emily opened the egg container again and there were two when she'd left only one in there I was like "...wait" 😂😂

Watching Snake Discovery has singlehandedly cured me of my snake fear. They're so cute, and I can't wait to visit the facility!

The giggling as Ed asks if they’re slightly venomous 😂😂 I can’t 😅

I just want to say how grateful I am for you guys. It has been a horrible day, and seeing this pop up brought a smile to my face.

Also, I learned enough from you guys to be able to rescue my own snake from being killed by her own owner.

The story for those who asked!
My friend works at PetSmart (I’m not an influencer so I have no issue slamming this company) and truly is a wonderful person and hard worker. She tries to make that environment better. A couple came into her store looking to purchase a snake. They were about 20-25 or so. They checked every box for being a good match and owner, and so they purchased a young ball python. The snake was in blue, and being bought and transported while in shed must’ve been very scary for him. Also, the new owners decided not to let him acclimate or even shed before trying to handle him. This snake has bitten someone in the past, but instead of working to fix the issue, they decided this was just an issue with the snake. They tried to take him back, but this PetSmart in particular refuses to take back pets. So they brought him back home and deliberately began to not feed him and let him rot away so they wouldn’t have to do anything but wait till he died.
It’s disgusting.
My friend, not knowing what they decided on doing, reached out to them and let them know that she could temporarily take the snake and try to find it a new home. Truth be told, she had a bad feeling, and even though she had nowhere to keep him, she took him and frantically reached out to me. I spent 500 dollars worth of supplies that night and drove over an hour away to pick him up, literally fuming at how he looked. He was actually a she, and was never named. Maybe this is a goofy name, but I named her Toast, and she is doing fantastic now. She has grown a foot since I’ve had her, and she went from having a scratchy container, to a 40 gallon tank full of enrichment. She even has a pet rock named Howard to keep her company. I’m still trying to find her a new home as I’m hiding her from my landlord (who lives hours away and doesn’t visit, so it’s not that scary). If anybody lives near Charlotte, North Carolina, comment and maybe I can finally find her a forever home!

Every time there is a clutch hatching Emily is like a kid on Christmas Day, except, she has it many times a year with each clutch! She's so adorable!

Aww! Baby season has been great this year, so many interesting and new little snakes! I'm so excited to see what all the snakes you've gained this year look like later on!

This has definitely been one of the most exciting hatching season on the channel in a long time. Its been so fun to see what you guys are hatching out this year. Praying one year I can get myself on a waitlist for a hognose baby!

I've never been afraid of snakes or anything. But what really convinced me that they make good pets was seeing how much Ed and Emily love their animals. Somehow I never expected a reptile breeder to love their baby snakes the way a dog breeder would love a new litter of puppies.

5:55 I was gonna say I was pretty sure Emily only left one in that container 😆

The look on that baby hog's face after being removed from Emily's hand was the epitome of "I know what I did... and I'D DO IT AGAIN."

I need an update on Emily’s hand from that Mad hogs bite 😂. I was so shocked that baby Mad hog chomped her that hard. Hope you’re okie Emily ❤❤❤

I'm laughing because the last three trying to get into the shared cave kinda stalled and they looked hilarious with just their heads in.

I’m so impressed over how much the patreon list has grown! We’ve been backers for over a year and my name has been pushed significantly lol. I love how much support the channel has!

Love how excited Emily gets, no matter what the snake spieces. So happy you 2 finally hatched someMGH babies and such a good amount of "BABIES", no I wasn't shouting that's a Emily quote!

It was very fitting for the little diglet baby to be poking their little head out like that to say hello!!😊

The thing I like the most is the rescue work they do. I had a rescue named Hector who died of cancer in July. Beardies are the ones the most rescued because no is really told how much care they need and are surrendered when the owners get tired of them. No matter what, Hector got the care he needed. He was the goofiest guy I ever had. I hope to get another one next year. Reptiles are cool!

I adore you guys and your enthusiasm. My baby bull snake from you - now named Catori - is settling in SO well and is surprisingly chill and sweet. I love her 🥰
