I just wanted to say my 4-year-old loves your channel. He will often come up to me and ask to watch the "snake lady" together. During one hatching video we were watching you cut into an egg and he turned and looked at me with a serious expression and said "the goop is a good color". So nice to see he is learning as he watches. Love your channel!

My 5 year old daughter has been asking me to watch your videos, and today she wasn’t feeling good so she watched a whole bunch, and she is currently building “enclosures for the snakes” and one had a baby so she’s setting up a baby bin. she’s narrating just like Emily when she films. It’s SO cute.

Charlotte and Bueller's baby is home and his name is Alexander HAMilton. He is a very good eater and not dramatic... yet. We just love him!!!

I can see Phil and Lil totally going herping with a spot light and flipping logs in the middle of the night.

As an 80s baby I instantly recognized your reptiles shirt reference of Rugrats. That was one of my favorite shows as a kid!

Well I know I've personally noticed the Rugrats/Reptiles shirt! I love the giant hogs so much, they're so chill and cute ❤

Edit to add: HUGE congrats for the 3 million subs by the way! Y'all are absolutely my biggest inspirations in the reptile community and every view and every fan is well deserved.

It would be cool if they put together a breeding season 2023 compilation video. Then we could see all the clutches in one video after the originals air. Also, Emily and Ed might provide commentary of maybe updates or top clutches of the year, things they learned that season, etc. in between showing clutches. Then if they did that every year you could see kind of a timeline of how things have changed. It could just be clips of pipping snakes and then some short clips once they’re out of the egg. That might also allow for a short update on any holdbacks as well. :)

from what i know squinch isnt a bad word it just means a straight or arched structure across an interior angle of a square tower to carry a superstructure such as a dome and in terms of the face it just means to squint the eyes, but the babies are adorable

0:09 You have no idea how happy I am to see that lock. I was so concerned how you were going to go about protecting the babies, but that works great and doesn’t detract from the viewing window! 😍

Squinch has several meanings! One is 'screech' as in 'Squinch Owl'. One is 'to scrunch up', like you used for the baby. The last I found is an architectural term for structures that help carry domes.

What a small world! I just googled your zoo and was very surprised to find out you were in MN. And not just in MN, but in the exact neighborhood I grew up in! My first encounter with a turtle in the wild happened almost 40 years ago at the maplewood nature center right next to your location! Your location used to be an exotic fish store 35+ years ago. I used to catch turtles as a kid at tanners lake and maple wood nature center. The last time I was in that area I was amazed how built up that area has become. The only stuff there back then was Crowley gymnastics, a liquor store called peggertys I used to get candy at and a no name gas station down on the corner. And a restaurant near crowleys it may have been called green street can’t recall.

I loved watching the Rugrats as a kid, that shirt was a huge nostalgia trip. It's also rather appropriate reference to a show about babies to show up in video about babies!

"The Easy Snake Oven" - I love it! Also... Rugrats!! I can't have Prairie Hognoses where I live, but I wonder if I can have Giants?

I get the reference Emily!!!! One of my favorite shows growing up!!!!
Funny enough, a friend of mine's daughter just last night said "Mommy's a 90's kid" and then I said "So am I, and so is Emily!!!"
