This is the most chaotic egg hatching video. Didn’t think it could get more chaotic than looking for baby garters 😂

For the vents on the incubator, I'd recommend glue/taping some screen mesh over the holes. Keeps airflow and prevents escapes.

Now I don't feel so bad about my 3yo milk snake escaping last month 😅 He also likes to yeet himself. I think it's just in their nature lol. This was absolutely entertaining!! I'm glad all the babies were ok after their little adventure. I would love to see more baby milk snake from you guys! Anyways, have a lovely day 🖤

Imagine being a day old, knowing nothing but silent darkness, then suddenly… bombarded by a SCREAMING SQUEALING GIANT while explosions happen in the distance. I would bite too tbfh

This is the most interesting hatching video by far🤣 I go from feeling happy to see the babies hatching to suspense mid-video and to laughing at Emily and Ed's adventure in recovering the lost babies. This video really made my day💖

the way the baby milksnake was chomping on you while you cut open the other egg 😂 thank you for sharing these hatching videos every single year 💖

Emily saying "lol anyway" and just continuing the video with a snakelet attached to her thumb is incredibly on brand.

Why does the fact they keep biting you make me want one even more? They're such adorable little brats! 🤣

I’m convinced milk baby just didn’t wanna deal with his crazy siblings and was just hiding

I know I say it every time, but I love that you don't shy away from the realities of your work as responsible breeders, be it babies that don't survive to hatch, hatch with severe spinal deformities, and the late nights, the hard graft. By showing everything you are giving a much more realistic perspective of what is involved, there are too many animal-based social media accounts who only show the fun stuff, and mislead people into thinking that animal care is easy, with no downsides - and then they go get an animal, find they can't handle the realities, and there becomes more and more need for rescue/rehoming orgs. So thank you, Emily and Ed, for being open and honest with your audience!

Emily continuing cuttin' the eggs with a baby snake eating her alive is the most Snake Discovery thing ever. LMAO

I think this clutch wins the award for 'Stinkers of the Year', between the chompiness and the escape attempts and musking. 😂Glad you found 'em all!

I love how Emily starts cutting with a snake attached, lmao!🐍

When the baby bit Emily, that was so funny because she was just casually cutting the eggs while the baby was just on there
Edit:I haven’t checked in a while but thank you for 50 likes

Just in case someone hasn't written it already, the Vulcans are a community group in St. Paul based around the ending of the Winter Carnival and the coming of spring and summer. The Winter King Boreas who presides over the winter carnival (and wintertime in general) is ousted from his position by the king of fire Vulcanus Rex and his warriors, the Vulcans, who bring the heat of summer to melt all the snow away. It's a really old tradition from like 1916, although the winter king has been around since 1888. The two kings and their respective courts are locked in an eternal battle for dominance, causing the freezing cold winters and the hot and humid summers.

Im so glad you found the babies and that they were safe! I could hear the relief in Emily’s voice! Im glad that both of you are so passionate about snakes!
