Samsung Smart TV 'Self Diagnosis' is Greyed Out? FIXED!

If your Samsung Smart TV has the self diagnosis greyed out or not selectable in the settings its an easy fix. Hope this helps.

My options are still grayed out but I'm wondering if it's because the TV thinks that my Switch is a PC. I have my Switch and PC both connected via an HDMI hub. Is there any way to change this?

Thanks. We've been dealing with our older Samsung TV acting up a lot with not being able to change the volume. Late at night, I'm blasting my roommates because I can't turn the volume down. During the day, I can't mute anything because it won't un-mute. Since your fix allows me to access the system reset on demand, instead of being confused that it's almost always grayed out, I can use that to help troubleshoot.

For now, I can mute again and I'm not blasting my roommates at locked-in high volumes.
