How to access samsung smarttv service menu using smart remote

I had been looking for ways to access the service menu with smart remote on our Q80 for a while but could not find a way. (was having troubles with our tv speakers turning back on by themselves at tv power on while we're using a soundbar)

Today, by accident (!!!) I got into it and I've found the combo that did it, so I thought I'd share ;-)
Perhaps not all of these steps are required but it's what works for me ...

Press menu, go to settings, go to the sound setting and make sure it's set to "tv speaker"
then, while the tv speaker is selected press: MUTE, UP, DOWN, OK (center of directional pad), MUTE
Voila ! you should be in the service menu !!!

REMINDER: Be careful when changing settings here !!!

Thanks. The only video I could find showing how to do it with the new remote. Didn't think my brand new Samsung had the Bluetooth feature. But now it does!

I have the same remote but it doesn't work on my tv. It appears samsung does sometimes change the order in which to press the keys to gain access to this menu.

Great! It worked for my Q60. The broadcast was grayed out because it was in the hospitality mode

I have it open, but the up down buttons on both remotes don't do anything. I just want to check if the TV has been watched before purchase.

You cant get into the service menu with the solar smart remote. Its not possible.

Does not work for the Q6F models from 2018 - I have the QN75Q6FN and I can't access the menu with this pattern - Just ordered a service remote from amazon and will test it out with that.
