Software Update is Greyed Out on Samsung Smart TV? FIXED!

If your Samsung Smart TV has the software update greyed out or not selectable in the settings menu its an easy fix. Hope this helps.

Surprisingly quick solution. Had sling open after being in storage for 9 months. Forgot how to use the TV.

Thank you SO SO MUCH!! This is a great video! Nobody knows this! Why wouldn’t they let you know to close the apps running in the background. Instead of saying it’s not up to date and saying there is a version available but grays it out to where you can’t click it it. Thank you for your help!!
