No matter how many times I come across this image it never ceases to move me. How terrible it must have been to have no choice and to have no hope of salvation. The only comfort in this godless world is the knowledge that this poor soul feels no more pain. He has been at peace now for 23 years.

That man had to make the decision to ether burn alive or fall to his death. He chose the sudden death and kept choosing the sudden death the whole way down to the ground.

It just saddens me beyond measure. That you know your going to die one way or the other. And you make the decision to jump off these monstrous buildings. And for those on the ground that saw and heard the bodies hit the ground must have been life altering. I know it would be for me seeing something so traumatic. As others have mentioned already may they rest in peace now. Yes leaving behind there loved ones. But certainly now in a place FAR FAR better than the world they left. God bless to all the families that suffered losses on this tragic day.

A friend of mine son was there that day. In therapy, he told his Dr. he couldn't get the sound of the people hitting the street out of his mind. He saw about 5 people jump.
