9/11/2001 - NYFD Watch as People Jump from World Trade Towers! 😞

Just a short clip from that day. Planned it to be a short, but footage was too wide.

The very first Fireman to be killed that day was hit by someone who had to make the terrible decision to jump. As hard as it is to watch those poor souls falling from the burning World Trade Center' Buildings on TV, I can't imagine the feeling of absolute helplessness that those Fireman felt seeing that in person & not being able to help. You can see it all on that first Firemans face, the hurt of everything that's happening, and then the anger that it's actually happening. RIP to all the Innocent People lost the Morning of September 11th 2001, and Prayers to everyone that lost someone & who's lives were forever changed that Day...

I hate hearing people referring to these falling people as "suicide" jumpers. They didn't commit suicide. They were murdered. May they all rest in peace.

The fact there's a suicide hotline ad attached to this video is disturbing. None of the jumpers were suicidal otw to work. It was an extreme scenario with flames at their backs

Imagine seeing someone exploded in front of you. These firefighter with other people saw atleast 30 bodies on their side only

This video has the YouTube suicide warning preceding it and I don’t think it should, those poor people were already victims of murder, they just chose how they were going to die, by burning to death or by jumping. None of them committed suicide.

Im extremely happy that this clip is still being viewed to this day, as sad as it is, it still means people aren’t forgetting this tragedy.

I’ll never forget hearing the sounds of these people hitting the concrete. It’s almost hard to describe it, maybe a sound of a 45 caliber pistol being fired, it was horrifying to witness. It has haunted me every day since. I still receive therapy for it but it will never get better. But these people, these true Americans were murdered. I hate it when I see someone comment and refer to them as suicide jumpers, they was murdered. But it truly hurts seeing the looks on these men’s faces. Our true hero’s!

Just hearing the bodies fall onto the roof is very heartbreaking I can’t imagine how hard the firefighters had to see this

I hope every fireman in this video made it home to their families that dreadful day. I still remember where I was, what I was doing, how I felt when I heard the news of the second plane hitting the WTC!
