I'm currently learning front-end on Scrimba and they have these solo projects at the end of each module.
They alwas seem almost too easy right until I take over and try to solve them lol.
It's crazy how only watching tutorials creates an illusion of proficiency.

When I started working the first fulltime job that I got as a coder, the job I have now, it did feel like I was going through a bunch of tutorials. Now that I got promoted, I've been doing alot of "I wonder what this project would look like if I made it" projects. Even struggling through those projects making those has helped me out than just doing tutorials.

I mean Im making a lot of 'i wonder how to build this' kinda projects then I either figure out how or look at a video tutorial just to make sure Im not doing it in some antiquated way. And i learn new ways to create that way But maybe I shouldnt? Idk now 😂

Lol. Django tutorial I wish. darn signals not saving stuff via manager because somewhere it drops all elements. Where is the tutorial on proper debugging and test code. Those things are the ones no one on YouTube really gets their elbows stuck in.
