I followed your instructions - but had 3 additional steps. Asked if I wanted to. Restore ftom computer or over air. Then it. Asked another question (sorry forgotl and then finally RESET THIS PC >RESET or CANCEL.. It was easy to figure out and I appreciate you heading me in the correct direction.

Do you know how to set the computer to where I don't have to press the "Fn" key when needing to press f1 f2 etc for like certain games that need the f keys? I've been trying to figure this out but there's no video that shows how to or what option to pick in bios settings to get and pressing FN key and NumLK doesn't make it work.

I cleaned the keyboard of my Gateway laptop and now the screen won't work. I did something to it that dimmed the screen, or actually turned it off all together. I'm trying to figure out how to get it back on. It worked fine. if I get the screen on I'll probably set it back to factory settings.

my power button keeps blinking indicating its in sleep mode. but when i press the space bar and everything it wont turn on. not even when i press the power button. Ive held it for over a minute, still nothing. just the same blinking light. please help
