Bro, you don't need a pump for this. It probably took them 15 minutes of cardio to pull the mud all the way back, and he saved about $700.00 for not using a pump. They were smart and got a good work out.

That’s no problem for those guys, trust me. Real men doing real work.

Maybe use an extension chute, but these boys got it done without the cost of a pump. Good work!

A few minutes of hard work is good for the soul. No big deal.

What seems like really hard work is just another day for these boys. And there are plenty of guys to handle this little project. Good job guys!

I agree with the other guys commenting, a pump isn't necessary on this job, they charge way too much nowadays.

Company I worked for did a set of steps like this but much wider ! The "reverse Stringers" on top of each step gave out. The whole set of stairs bowed out. We used 2 trucks to back into the forms to hold them. Then went back and filled in the sides where the stair forms pulled away from the walls. When it was floated off and finished, it looked like it was planned. Few months later heard a salesman show a prospective client how we added the subtle arch to make the entry less harsh and angular.

Pump mud uses smaller aggregate. This is a much stronger mix and is more suitable for the job. These guys are handling it like pros

I’ve always said, concrete work & roofing (removing/ installing) are the 2 hardest jobs in the construction trade! These trades men have my deep respect on what they do!!!

As someone who knows enough about concrete work to hire someone that knows more than me, the finished product looked great. But I have know idea what they should do to get it there, however it looks like what they did worked.
