The best forgiveness is to build your foundation. If you become in debt to yourself you have to repay yourself. Mistakes happen and often we dont realize until we have become default on your own debts to ourselves. As long as you make efforts to repay your self debts you will eventually get back on track. Dont owe yourself, appreciate yourself.

I literally killed my father in a suicide attempt gone wrong 11 years ago. Still in a mental hospital. I forgave myself maybe three weeks ago, realizing the a) he told me to do it and b) I was hurting so bad physically, emotionally and spiritually that virtually no other man would do something differently in the circumstances. It’s been really, really hard, but trauma cycles are much, much stronger earlier on than a mortal. But I’m here so I can help other youth in a similar situation see there’s a way out without imploding.

My father committed suicide he was 87 yrs old i hadnt spoken to him 2 years prior i BLAME myself and for his death i never made peace w/him before it happened didnt see it coming couldn't even say goodbye or especially IM SORRY i then blamed God because my dad was VERY RELIGIOUS so how could he allow this to happen? i tried to take my own life this past April (im 55) and i care for my 30yr old special needs daughter full time i asked jesus for forgiveness now i started reading the bible i hope its not too late for me since im old (older) i pray DAILY for his forgiveness
