Is it just me? Five plus minutes in to the ten (10) minute video and I am still waiting for this guy to teach the subject. Wait, I think he just started...six minutes in. Finally. Thank you.

Actually, this is a superb video. I just finished calculus 2 exam 1 in university. I'm minoring in stats, and need to get to "applied multivariate calculus" (essentially vector calculus) before I can move on to the mathematical statistics, stochastic processes, numerical analysis, and probability theory classes.

I hate vectors, and I did bad on the exam (hoping for an 8-85, key word is hoping). Previous semester, I got an A+ in cal 1, pretty much because of AP calculus BC. But cal 2 at my school, conbines multivariate calculus, and parametric equations in this first unit, so i'm basically shitting bricks. last semester, it was easy stuff like integration rules (which are still sometimes hard, but not too bad). Now we have to find equations of a circle being traced clockwise and counterclockwise. WTF.

I besically mad a mini-breakdown and started to get scared if I can make it to those mathematical statistics classes. (It can only get harder, right? even though most people agree that cal 2 is the hardest class offered at my school for yrs 1 &2 undergraduate). In any case, within the first slide, I saw that super cool coil drawing, and my heart started to warm up. I am SUPER fucking curoious, and I will conquer all this so that I'm better at math for applied statistical modelling. Fuck the world, Imma beast this shit (cue testosterone release in body haha).

This video, in 10 min, explained why I love math. It's ability to compuund scientific growth is unparalleled (vector joke) is so inspiring. I want to make sense of the world, and I always knew math is the way to do so. Let's get it. Maybe I should knock it down to 16 credit hours?

Do vector calculus just for fun
I ain't got a gat, but I got a soldering gun (What?)
Happy Days is my favorite theme song
I could sure kick your butt in a game of ping pong
I'll ace any trivia quiz you bring on
I'm fluent in JavaScript as well as Klingon

I'm currently taking intermediate algebra in college. How long do you think it'd take me to learn this?

In the third one we can substitute x^3 to k

I am a sixth grader and I am quite familiar with calculus I and II, (referring to 2:55)

meandering...wanders off to non-vector calculus stuff..that's 10 minutes i can't get back.

I'll be honest, this video is pretty disjointed and seems kind of rambly. Are you reading off notes or winging it as you go?

This already looks too complicated

The guy says that "computers are the dumbest thing in the world, " but he provides a wandering, disjointed, incoherent blitherama which demonstrates that humans are still in the race.

A total waste of everybody's time.
