"R&R Drywall" vs "Tear Out Wet Drywall and Bag for Disposal"

This is a sneak peak from the IES Certified Online Virtual Training Course. Keep grinding!

Bag for disposal is only if you have to carry the wet drywall through a room that was undamaged. I believe there is a line item for remove wet drywall w/ no bagging, which will be used in most flood losses that have affected all the rooms on the first floor.

There is no room for probably when defining what category water is. Its either 1, 2 or 3. This all depends on the source

Its true, but if a roof is tarped after damage and the area dries out prior to the adjuster getting there its hard to charge a wet drywall code. Remove and Replace as long as the proper antimicrobial procedures are being billed with it should work.

Yes. Anytime u choose to removed affected material, it will pay more. Always use wtr if u can if its affected

yeah for sure but also the adjuster have to work within the specifications of the insurer. a lot of times the estimates get sent back . and when that happens they dont get paid, just trying to see it from both sides

This guy is really good. This program is really helpful but I don't understand the purpose of the $50 monthly fee as part of the course?? Do you offer updates on the program? Are they any other estimates sample besides roof estimates? Any other advantage for people to pay a monthly charged fee? Especially if they completed the course. I have a friend who completed the program and still paying $50 monthly for what. No new updates? She attempt to contact Chad on that fb group with no answer other than I'll get back to you. And nothing. So what is the benefit of continuing this monthly fee? Other than you getting paid for it.. please I love your knowledge but after members complete the program they are stuck with a membership filled with nothing else ..lol. anyway. I think charging additional membership fee and not providing any incentive other than being part of a fb group with no or little engagement seems wrong .. are you making any future changes to this? Thank you !

In a lot of cases, the mitigation company has already addressed this in their scope and invoice.
