The smaller Bryman is selling as the "EEVblog Brymen BM235" for US$125 in blue.
The dual display one is selling on Amazon USA as the "Greenlee DM-820A" for US$170 in green.

It's a bit friggin' rich making snide remarks about he Brymens' uV and pF low limits when the Brymen meters are 10x the sensitivity (lower limit) of Dave-o's beloved Fluke 87-v on Volts/Amps and match the 87V's low Capacitance!
Fluke 87V: 100uV; 100nA; 10pF (10mF max)
BM869: 10uV; 10nA; 10pF (25mF max)
BM857: 10uV; 10nA; 10pF (10mF max)
BM257: 10uV; 100nA; 10pF (3mF max)

That small trimpot near the buttons adjusts the diode test voltage, mine was set to 2.900.

Dave, I don't think you ever did a full review and teardown analysis of the top of the range BM869 that you show in this video, did you? I reckon that would be a really popular video, and I for one would be really interested to see it, if you ever get a chance to do so. Or, if you already have done a whole video on that specific video and I've missed it, sorry about that, it didn't come up in a quick search in youtube vids. Cheers!

Also found Brymen multimeters as very good meters with Fluke features for a third of Fluke price. Had BM257s for a while (Dave, you are guilty 😀) - very handy meter on both bench and outside. Recently bought BM789.

+EEVblog what is your favourite meter that you use, not necessarily the most feature rich or most expensive, but the one that you keep coming back to, and always reach for?

I personally like the unlatched continuity testers since they can be used to diagnose bad connections in switches and such. If you get scratches in the sound there is a bad connection. The latched ones can't be used for that.

Fuse access fom outside? I'm not quite sure you're serious or joking. If you blew a fuse, first you'd want it under a shitload of covers and weather seals, in order not to risk injury. Second, you'd certainly want to open the meter and have a look inside after the blow-up. You might be surprised at what you've found..

Dave, from experience it is not so realistic to measure autorange speed by just shorting the probes together in ohms metering. I bought a GWInstek that is really fast at doing this but when you measure a higher resistor (in fact, higher than 0) it take ages to select the correct range. Horror.

Moving it to the edge would help more. Right now it is shooting through a semi-reflective screen.
