This doesn't work anymore. I deleted the address in question under Contacts, emptied the trash, but when I start a new e-mail, the address shows up with more enthusiasm than ever. It even told me it's the recipient's birthday. What gives?

I have watched this video several times but still have an email address in my Gmail that is not showing in the contacts, other contacts or frequent contacts so how do I get rid of this?

It appears to work well. The system says that the address will definitely be deleted in 30 days but what I saw was it giving up the Ghost as soon as I clicked to delete.
Let us keep in mind that _this only works with Desk Tops._ I cannot tell about Lap Tops and it definitely won't work with mobiles, as "other contacts" won't show.
I got rid of plenty of unused and incorrect addresses, some of them amazingly old. Thank you sir! 😀

I don't have a screen like yours!! When I press Contacts, I'm sent to Play Store to install a separate app. Why doesn't my email have an built in list of past addresses like yours?

Your link google.contacts is not the same as what you used earlier in your email.Even if erased they will pop up as suggestion when you try to write an adress.
Can you make a new video how it will be done completely without flaws?

thank you SO much! i had been wondering how to delete a bunch of email addresses that i never actually saved. i really wish google would stop doing all these annoying things, and make it easier to delete things you no longer want. i remember i came across a bunch of email addresses i hadn't realized gmail had saved, and when i did the right-click thing, there was NO "delete" option in the box that popped up.

there shouldn't even be an "other contacts" option, because google should NOT be saving ANY thing with out asking first. AND there should be a way to permanently disable google from saving ANY thing people don't want saved. but any way, thank you SO much again. : )
