I'd say, confidence in football can come with practice, with improving, with playing a lot too, with expressing yourself on the pitch. And as a person who's played since 5 years old, i liked dribbling and winning, and scoring, and recovering balls. BEcause its fun, natural and expressive, and competitive, and beautiful. It was part of my game. U can improve by practicing and getting out there. Dont be so hard on yourself. With 1 v 1 its also about patience and dribbling it close enough to the defender that they commit. It is practice and its very game realistic ofcourse as well. But futbol is also about fun, its a game, and expressing yourself, and having that expression naturally. What do you like? What makes you have lots of fun? Shaking people dribbling past them with close control, like Messi, like Vinicius? Like Maradona, like Zidane? With elegance, they have natural talent on the ball, and practice, they had acces to good academies for sure, their also natural and football is a natural game, once you get it you can milk it really. Once you get your strengths, etc. Somethings to work on is your touch, when you have good touch, on the ball. You control a lot the game, dribbling, it gives you more time on the ball, to think also.. or to see whats going on., with football iq, and momentum, you see and can detect those through balls or what the game needs maybe a fast breakthrough because the other team is off balance and you should make the most of it, etc. ITs a natural game, the best ones win, really, what it comes down to, is playing and being competitive and sharpening your strengths, and working on your not strengths, if you have good touch on the ball and good feel for the ball and control, you can even be a little overweight and still command the game, its a natural game. Its about passion, too. Something like touch and feel and close control, footwork and the football iq will give you lots of time on the ball to flow naturally and gracefully with it.

you get confident by being good and mastering something you master it by playing it and working on it and understanding how it works, more less. And control of the ball is always the master skill for dribbling and even the game really. Control, feel fun and solvency on it . Once you understand it once you feel it. au can be quite unstopable :)!

Great video! I’d love to know variations that can be done on your own, although I imagine certain things like 1 v 1s are a bit too easy with a cone. I imagine CR7 has some pretty crazy individual shooting drills though!

1v1 and 2v1 are most common situations happening in any given football game. Those skills are the most fundamental for anyone who wants to play smart football.

The clips of the pro players in this video shows that pro players are on a different level. I mean the speed, the touch, the control, the reactions, etc are unbelievably quick. No wonder they play on international level.

At my team we do a drill (idk how it's called) where you mark a square with cones, 4 players inside (2from each team) and 2 on all sides outside the square (1 from each team) which can move freely at that side outside the square. The ball is inside the square, everyone has unlimited touches, the goal is for the players inside (they can also pass to each other but no points for that) to pass the ball to their teammate(s) outside the square (=1point), when a player outside the square receives the ball he has to go inside the square with it and repeat the process. The other team is (logically) basically trying to defend and get the ball for themselves. Pretty good all round high intensity drill which improves many important skills at once. You can do this pretty much with any amount of players, you just change the shape from square to something else or increase the number of players inside, it all depends how big you want to make the playing area⚽✌️ @Unisport
