This week's comment was from Sofina Khatun: _"If god wants to forgive he just has to say i forgive you, why would he need to kill himself for mankind?"_

Hey John, I love what you guys are doing!! It's amazing to share the gospel! I'm happy to be the winner of the little challenge we had... The way I know you are Lebanese and Armenian is from one of your videos you posted about 5 years ago: What happens when you mix: Apologetics, Lebanon, and Easter? In it you say the answer... God bless your work, Stay being bold for the gospel, and Keep reaching out to the lost!!! There is nothing more joyful and rewarding! God Bless You, Your Family, and the Living Waters Ministry!!!

Best explanation I have heard. It is both inspired and consice leading to the expected conclusion. Only Christ could pay the fine and rescue us from our sins. Such love and mercy! Thank you Jesus!

Thank you for this video. You are greatly gifted in being able to answer wisely the questions of unbelievers. Your team of people are helping me to give a wise answer to our unsaved family. God bless you in your ministry until Jesus comes.

Wow amazingly simple explanation. God is both loving & merciful as our Father, as well as Just & righteous as Lord that He cannot allow sin to not be unaccounted for. Christs sacrifice is the culmination of who God is: Loving that He would free us from sin completely through His grace, as well as atone for sin justly through His worthy sacrifice.

I don't feel the need to punish others who on very rare occasion have done something to me I consider wrong. So why does God? He asks us to forgive others 70 times 7 times but he can't forgive once? Totally illogical.

God bless you, John, and everyone in this beautiful ministry. I appreciate you bringing up these difficult theological questions, as I know that I will be asked these questions when I have opportunity to share the Gospel. Very helpful!! Please continue to post more of these questions!

When I first saw the question, my answer was 'because He is Just'. Woohoo! I got it right, but not without many hours of reading, meditating on God's Word allowing me to know.
I had this same question for many years.
