I absolutely agree with the assisted dying bill.  If someone is of sound mind and the correct precautions are in place then it would be the moral thing to do.

It certainly does! If you allowed an animal to suffer the way some people are made to then you would be prosecuted. I do not fear death nor suffering but I am damned if I want to end my days with my dignity in tatters and someone telling me that I do not have rights over my own death nor that a loved one cannot help me. We had the same arguments about abortion and the medical profession, no one need be forced to break their hypocratic oath or act against their conscience.
