Stop your GPU from Sagging! - RTX 4070 Ti Gigabyte Aero Anti-Sag Bracket mounting Tutorial

These RTX 4000 cards are so big that they end up being slightly bent, in the phenomenon called GPU sag. In order to fix that, Gigabyte has started to include with their 5070 Ti, 4080 and 4090 this mounting kit that goes straight into the motherboard standoffs. It's well built, in alluminum, and today I'm showing you a quick tutorial about how to mount it properly!

Bro thank you for this, I got my Gigabyte 4070 ti, opened the box, saw how big it was and went "why are there extra mounting brackets WHERE DO THEY GO". Of course no manual or anything despite some light googling.

Edit: The manuals were in that flat little logo card that I thought was just fancy garbage. Great to see the installation in action regardless.

Gigabyte's solution is rather poor and relies on the torsion strength of the bracket that you mount on the motherboard. So, from a technical perspective, it still sags a little.

Nice to see that everybody who didn’t know about the crazy news. Around gigabyte is rushing to buy these brackets. Unfortunately I am one of those idiots now I have to save myself all the money. Hope this prevents all the problems.

2:51 and this is how PCB hooks break off: PCIE slot is locked, PCB hook is locked and held, but now anti-sag bracked pushes the card out of PCIE slot when you tighten last screw. you should have bent the bracket a little bit towards the upper white cooler on the housing.

Is the Anti-Sag bracket still installable even when you're using a Mini-ATX motherboard? I'm using the B550m mortar wifi max and the most bottom right part of the board isn't screwed in since it doesn't reach the hole. In the video it shows that you mounted the anti-sag bracket there.

I’ve read these cards have been cracking at the pcb where it inserts into the motherboard. Notice any cracking or performance issues?
