What if there are arrows? I know that it means it is infinity but which sign would you use?

If it's a open circle then why are you using the points? I thought if it was open, the points aren't included

Thank you. Helped a lot. Also a quick question, what if you have arrows instead of (opened/closed) circles on the end of the line? Is it just (greater/less than) or (greater/less than or equal to) ???
