I'm Egyptian but I was born and raised abroad, I visited Egypt as Egyptian two years ago they stopped me 4 hours in the airport questioning me why I don't visit Egypt and took stuff from me, I stayed two weeks and left and never back again, I was in more than 20 airports around the world no one ever stopped me and asked me questions.
