The Dark Side of Egypt Nobody talks About! 🇪🇬

The Dark Side of Egypt Nobody talks About is a video about Traveling to Cairo Egypt and why my experience visiting this country was very difficult. I explore the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids of Giza, The river Nile and the Khan el-Khalili. The Egyptian Government has made it very difficult for tourists to experience Egypt easily, which is evident from most of the online videos. I hope this changes in the future.

I am a Nigerian living In Egypyt for two years, I have been watching your content for 3 Years now, and I can confidently saythat "You didn't find more about egypt before coming" You explored the little part of it had a negative experience and publicly generalize it. Egypyt is a nice place to live with good hospitipality and friendly people!

I am from Europe and my husband is from Egypt. I would recommend to move around with a local, then you will not get scammed and also language barrier will not be there. For me positive things outweigh the negative ones and I will keep coming back to Egypt as often as I can. Nor hard feelings about people trying to earn from tourists, if i was put in same circumstances who knows how I would hustle and what I would do, so if I want to blame anyone then it is government that has put people in such situation in the first place. Egypt is amazing country, it will always have a special place in my heart!

I was sent back from Alexandria Airport for no reason at all. They looked at my passport and canceled my visa without talking to me. I stayed at the airport for 12 hours, and nobody asked me any questions. Finally, an airline employee gave me my passport and a ticket to go back to my country. Seeing all of this has made me change my mind about visiting Egypt.

I've visited five times from the US. I've never had any issues. Egypt and Egyptians are wonderful people.

Bro am an Egyptian and honestly that's the first vid i see from u and i actually loved the fact that u said it was the government restricting not the people cause its actually true. We had political issues within the country back in 2011, 2013. I wanna say that u honestly missed a lot in Cairo and in Egypt generally, what u visited is like a small percentage of a world that I want people to see. I know ur right bout the people asking for money and police restrictions (and am sorry for that), and u know, its gonna get better. Honestly i liked ur channel, and this video (specially that I've went to all this places) and keep on the good work, and finally hope u visit again.

The fact that you shot this wholesome documentary on a smartphone is a teachable moment and it's really impeccable.💪🏿

Great video, I'm from Egypt and it frustrates me that we cant share our history and culture with the rest of the world because of our regime's paranoia. Sorry for the underwhelming experience, it really doesnt do our country justice

As an Egyptian, I believe the best way to explore egypt and actually enjoy it is with an Egyptian local, egypt is beautiful and you can actually have soo much fun away from all the tourist attractions filled with people trying to take your money and sell you things, next time maybe try to explore it with a local and try visiting places other than cairo, maybe try enjoying the beautiful nature of Sinai like: dahab, taba, sharm el sheikh, etc… thank you for visiting my country and I hope next time it would be better for you!!

I am from Angola, Africa. I flew to Egypt last year. Got my visa in 7 days. Had an excellent time there. Besides coming across loads of scammers I enjoyed the two-week visit. Egyptians are amiable people.

I love Tayo Aina's documentary style of content. Tayo is gifted in good videography, editing and storytelling. I pray that with hard work and continuous learning I will grow to have strengths as he has in this field of storytelling through film. Thank you Tayo for being one of the African YouTubers I watched who inspired me to pick up the camera 📷 and film from my world 🌎, exactly where I am. In the UK 🇬🇧 as a Zimbabwean 🇿🇼 and I dared to start and I look forward to more on this storytelling and inspiring journey. Keep inspiring us Tayo 👏🏽

Despite the shortage of shooting gears, your storytelling is still amazing.

Thank you for visiting Egypt, and I am sorry for your bad experience 😢, and thank you for making it clear that this is the government's problem, not the people. And please ignore any hate comments .
Love you brother 🇪🇬❤️🇳🇬

I visited Egypt around a month ago, it was life-changing. I feel like if you want a solid opinion on Egypt you should also visit the less touristy spots like the White desert, in my opinion Egypt was a beautiful country, the "hassling" wasn't even that bad, and most of the time we ended up being friends with the ppl trying to sell stuff, I found it interesting how the kids wanted to take pictures with me. Definitely want to go back to visit the places I didn't go to like Siwa and Alexandria. I went for 10 days and visited Sharm, Dahab, Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada and the white desert. Really a life changing experience. We stayed at low cost places and ate Koshari like 5 times hahaha. We met a lot of ppl who were around our age so in their early 20s even though im 18.

Hey Tayo, another great travel video! I can't believe how hard it was for you to get to Egypt! I visited Hurghada in Jan 22 and we did a day tour of Luxor- highly highly recommend the Valley of the Pharaohs (There are Queens there too)! 😀 ❤️ from Yorkshire, UK
