Thanks for the tips! I was wondering why I always end up so damn poor. Now here are some of mine: go to the config file, copy it ont your desktop, open it with notepad and change disablelogging from 0 to 1. Then put it into the guild 2 file and overwrite the original. Once youre playing, save often. Once youve saved, load that save. This seems to clear some kind of cache and also shows you if the save file is broken, which happens a lot, unfortunately. This really is a wonderful game, and i hope that one day it gets remade without all the bugs.

I've been playing with an idea you mentioned in a video... I have 3 pubs, 2 I own, 1 my wife owns. I have a house next door to 2 of them, so what I've been doing is training myself and wife at the different homes, then at about 19:00 hours I move them into the pub to "serve guests" until the next day rolls over. I get huge amounts of XP from the training and then at the busiest time at the bar have them come in with their higher charisma's to make more money until about 02:00 hours-ish when I send them back home to train again. It's working pretty well like that. Time will tell. I'm now trying to save up enough to upgrade each pub to the next level in order to start pushing the "illegal" booze to increase income across them all.

Series suggestion for this game. 5 minute videos explaining deeper game mechanics and possible reasons why you'd want to or not want to use them. Give you my latest example of the kind of thing I encountered. I sent a thug to follow one of my enemies around and spy on him... he's since gathered evidence against him, but how do I go about using it? What's the best options here? Sit on it and wait until he threatens me with something? I can think of several possibilities but have NO idea how the mechanics of it works in this game. I'm sitting on it and just grinding out money at 3 pubs with hookers... :) Looking to upgrade them slowly but worry I'm gonna get jumped by my enemies, which I have 7 of in total, 3 of which in the same dynasty and one of those dynasty members with some dirt on for assaulting someone. *shrug*

That's the kind of thing this game needs desperately, little 5 minute or so, videos explaining all this little gnats in the pepper kind of things.

theres some coding in 4.15, now removed, that you can "easily" get and add which gives you 1 imperial renown each time you choose to purchase a title. so thats a nice cheese way to get renown if youre willing to edit files and hunt down older versions

You shouldn't take any notes off from the notice board. You will suffer reputation loss only once per NPC and then it will stay there forever without any further rep loss😁

Question : any recommended process to "Retire" someone? I have a Family member in politics and would Like to Just get him out as Hes 100 already and work on my 20 year old guy to get him to the top
