Other things to consider:
- Both iPads work with the Magic Keyboard
- For strict notetaking/reading purposes, iPad Air 4 is more than enough. If you think you'll eventually do a lot of illustrations, photo & video editing, programming, etc. then get the iPad Pro to be safe
- If you want better a better split screen experience, the iPad Pro 12.9 is the way to go!
- I took off my Paperlike for better comparison of the display but I will be putting it back on (P.S. they have a Black Friday sale right now!)

Pro for the screen size, but for everything else (especially the budget), I'd go for the air. Plus, the colors are much cuter, I'm in love with the blue one :)

I would honestly go for the iPad Pro just for the screen size. Pro-motion and latency is barely different between the 2 iPads so that's not really a huge deciding factor in my opinion.

I'm actually downgrading from the 12.9" Pro to the Air 4. Since I use my ipad more as a true tablet alongside a laptop (rather than as my main device), the 12.9 is just too big and heavy for me. It's difficult to hold and read etc, especially with a keyboard case. This review confirmed that there aren't too many shiny pro features that I'll miss if I "downgrade". Thanks! :)

One thing to note that was a huge determining factor for me, was not only the screen real estate for split screening on the 12.9", but also the fact that you get the full versions of the apps while split screening on the 12.9". The smaller iPads don't do this. Thought it might be worth mentioning. :)

i’m planning on using an ipad for
- take pictures for scanning documents and turning in work
- will mostly be using at home
- playing games such as among as and animal crossing
- watching lots of yt videos and netflix
- multitasking/split screen
- listen to spotify while browsing internet
- having lots of bookmarks on chrome
- drawing occasionally (possibly start taking commissions)
- taking notes for school (diagrams, editing pdfs mostly on good notes)
- reading books on kindle
- writing essays, editing google slides
- creating short videos ( less than 5 minutes in imovie)
which ipad should i get?

I have the same iPad Pro and it works wonders. It’s totally worth as an investment as a student because it feels like a laptop and it’s more compact and light.
