I find my left hand is always 'ahead' of my pick hand, and often the last note after the pull of on the high e, or wherever the scale ends, is often muffled. Also the downstroke, ascending is almost always 'smoother' than the upsweep, descending parts for me. I find if I slow down just a bit they ring much cleaner. Love these little minute lessons, tho. very handy. makes me want to practice more.

Wish I knew a way to increase my fretting hand finger speed. I can speed pick just fine but my fretting hand is way too slow

The palm mute reliance was new to me since I've only ever palm muted because that's what the dudes on YouTube told me when I was young... Now that it's just a hobby now, guess I'll just dream of sweeping cleanly 🤷🏾

So that's the trick! I need to palm mute or finger mute the notes! I thought you were suppose to let it ring out. This was great advice.

my main issue is that when i pick the string it continues to ring even after ive removed my finger from the fret
