I’ve seen a few of your videos at this point, and it seems like there is very little trading of blows with the long sword in comparison to something like the sabre. I wonder why is that? Is it simply that its large powerful swings are difficult to block and parry? Would that define the great sword as a superior weapon in battle when faced against other weapons?

It’s crazy that in historical times both of them would have died. Orange wouldn’t have stopped for a “point” call.
We are so lucky to be able to nerd out over swords and not have to use them in battle.
