for anyone wondering; the guy on the right clarified what happened. Red parried blue, hitting blue's elbow, and "disarming" blue, so then when blue hit red in the chest right after it was considered out of tempo and red got the point.

I remember this fight we had! It was my 2nd tournament ever. 😅 But I still enjoyed the challenge. We didn’t get the chance to fight at this last donnybrook, you judged for me in stout sword, hopefully we’ll get to fight again sometime this year!

Red twirled is sword to parry Blue's poke then just before Red finished the twirl. He got a hit in on Blue. Edit: And Blue’s sword was blocked by Red’s gauntlet at the end of the exchange.

The parry looked really good! Although I'm not very knowledgeable about hema, I can tell just how good he did it based on how hard of a time I'd have doing it on a stick. Other than that, the guy who still went for the attack despite the parry has good intuition as well, seeing that he rushed the the long sword in despite the overhead hold! Hema looks so cool!!
