I know I could've also made Ultimate Madoka references, but I think I've tapped out that well for now.

This episode was so awesome! The fight was amazing, and their new finishing move was well animated and beautiful! I love this episode, 10/10. The bond between the girls and the healing animals brought their new powers, and their new looks are gorgeous! Especially cure Earth's form.

So far this is the best episode in terms of action. The Precures are really giving their all in this episode, including using every Elemental Bottle and using their group finisher. Surprisingly the one that didn't give their best is Cure Earth who didn't even bother to use her finisher, and judging by how she acted, it is pretty understandable.

The new group finisher and their Amazing forms are pretty meh to me too, but I do love the colors. Also nice eye to catch on King Byogens possible manipulation towards Shindoin, and also shows that her love towards King Byogens would be her downfall.

So we now have Mega, Giga, and Tera. So who wants to guess that the final boss would be a Zetabyogen?

A wonderful episode! I really enjoyed it! I think this shows the best parts of Healin' Good with its strengths in character development and being a back to the basics shows. I think the problem with some modern pretty cure shows is that things tend to get too overcomplicated to handle. As a result, no one really gets much of anything. However, despite having simpler premise, Healin' Good has been very consistent in giving us really reasons for why we should CARE. The simple matter of fact is that they don't want the Earth and it's inhabitants to be hurt. It's not for some mascot (toy). It's because they legitimately want to hell others. And that, I think keeps the spirit of the Pretty Cute franchise. It's something we really haven't seen much of lately that I think going to a "back to the basics" season really helped re-established.
As I mentioned beforehand the animation has improved since the 20s which I'm grateful for and this episode has a wonderful fight scene. I do love how the cures are not OP in this season and they have no reason to be really. Even OP Cure Earth got her butt handed to her here proving she can't do everything alone. Not only does the powerup work in their favor, but the finisher is thankfully nothing too long like the last season. (Seriously, with all the transformation scenes in ST, their main attacks AND the Fuwa transformation? At that point it was just padding.) I'm very glad it's shorter here. Still flashy but not too much on the eyes.

As established beforehand, the Byogens do get stronger over time and this episode does confirm having multiple elementals will change that. I am curious what the big bad meant by evolving.
That being said, if I have any minor complaints it's that the bottles haven't done much of anything for this season. I get they need to sell toys somehow but maybe something more nature themed other than colored bottle would've worked better here.

Overall a wonderful review!

I loved this episode. The fight scenes were amazing and I love the precure's super forms. Healin' Good is one of my favorite seasons, mostly because of its characters. Here's hoping that it gets even better.

Nice review as always!

I really enjoyed this episode, with pretty great fighting, some more plot advancing alongside the fight, and even some foreshadowing for future events. I'm loving the main heroines so far, and they are getting on equal footing in the power scale, as the gap between Earth and the main three is getting smaller at this point.

About the new finisher, I actually love it. It may not be that special, but I really like how the fairies join the attack without being as ridiculous as certain another finisher with rotating animals.

I hope the big bad starts getting some action too, as he is by far the least developed character, only followed by Teatine who doesn't really need much more development herself.

But yeah, at this point I'm almost positive that this season will end up pretty high in my ranking of Precure seasons. Unless it goes downhill from here, somehow.

If only there were five of them, we could make Quintesson references.

Shindoine should be warned the candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long. Sure, she might be the most powerful of the trio with an ability the other two don't have, but she is probably living on borrowed time.

Something that's away bugged me is the equipment in the series is too on model to the toys. They come off looking clunky and lacking details the real thing would have but are two expensive to include in the toy.

I've heard somewhere that if you want to make the audience like a character, you don't show others liking that character; you show that character liking others. Certainly seems to work here.

(Before watching AzenZone’s review) This was a really solid episode for me. I liked that Shindoine wasn’t disposed off right away. I’m sensing that King Byogen will screw her over (maybe take over her body à la Noir and Elysio from KKPALM? 🤔). My favorite part was probably when Cure Earth felt defeated and temporarily lost the will to go on. Being almost quite literally born yesterday, and with how powerful she is, it’s only logical that she wouldn’t know how to cope with despair. That gave way to some great reinstatements of Cure Grace, Fontaine and Sparkle’s characters. And look! Powered-up forms that I think look actually good! 😂

I’ll admit that, unfortunately, Healin’ Good still hasn’t really grabbed me yet. Not that I particularly dislike any aspect of it (hell, I still watch it weekly, which is rare for any anime)... No, my biggest gripe with HG is how I feel like every thing about it is... _okay._ While I don’t hate anything of note about it, I don’t love anything about it either. And I know it’s not necessarily a popular opinion, but I’d rather take a show with highs and lows, than one who’s always “good but nothing more”.

What I’d really need now to make me like this season more is to develop the villains’ motives. Unfortunately, it seems like we’re headed towards the “evil for evil’s sake” route, which may be kinda inevitable when your baddies are embodiments of diseases. Too bad because I prefer nuanced/redeemable villains. Now, villains who are evil “just because” can be nice too if they have the charisma to go with that... Unfortunately, once again, while I fairly enjoy our three generals, none of them are outstanding... If anything, Batetomota was my favorite villain! 😅 Let’s just hope King Byogen will be a more interesting character than “hehehe look at how EVUL I am”...

Yeah, the new attack wasn’t the best but I’m just glad it’s not a “Latte Cult” attack. Plus, at least they actually have good action to back it up. I have to say, this is a really great episode. Honestly, this episode was awesome, mainly for its action sequences with a little emotional moments to balance it out. This was the first time a mid-season battle actually got me excited. No, really. I actually paused at one time to contain my excitement.

I’ve been seeing a lot of complaints from people how they found Healin Good and it’s characters boring due to the amount of times it focuses on them rather than the setting but I disagree entirely as it makes me actually care about these characters, oppose to Star Twinkle where only some characters where able to shine. Nodoka is officially up there with my other favorite pinks for being a proper leader unlike a certain girl who fits perfectly with Revolver’s insult to the Light Ignis in Yugioh VRAINS. Hinata still being funny and Chiyu being quick to correct her is still as entertaining as ever. And hell what a comeback. I just love this girl. Healin Good is not only reminding me of Go! Princess for its similarities but Smile by how straightforward it is with its approach and story but still brimming with heart and having an enjoyable cast of heroes and villains alike thanks to the amount of screentime they all seemed to get and having some surprising amount of layers and development one wouldn’t expect from them. And that’s a good thing.

Great review, Adam. And I’m totally stoked for you new Symphogear video!

This episode...worth the wait. At the very least, they don’t troll us like what they did to Grace. =v=

It felt like everything’s on the line in saving this old man and I adore the combat being more swift and beam spamming the heck out of it with their bottles they have, in a good way. For the characters, I like the fact that Nodoka went “ok...that’s personal”...though it would’ve worked on me better if that actually happened to her. All she got back then is severe stomachaches. It’s nothing compared to being turned into a monster and hurting those you love =^=

Now Shindoine’s has a high chance of getting “purified”. I mean yeah, she jabbed a crystal on herself. It made her powerful sure...but for how long will she able to control it before it consumes her entirely? We’ll see the outcome.

As for their new attack, eh. It’s basically a slight improvement of Healing Oasis but only a margin. I know...short and straight to the point but they could’ve done more movement besides standing still and let the effects do the talking. As for the outfits, Grace and Fontaine have the best motifs of magical doctors, Earth looks too much of a princess and Sparkle? Ok...she’s far off. She looks fit in circus themed events, not in the medical field. Their new item is pretty ok. I still prefer Dokidoki’s Love Heart Arrow any day =v=

Overall, yeah one of the best ones....though personally the whole infected moment would’ve been on ep 28 first imo <:)

I like how you know many rider and sentai reference in precure, many fans dont know so many easter egg in precure that related to rider and sentai

When in doubt just have an Aoi Yuuki character said something along the lines of "even so" and things will work out just fine. Quitting isn't an option. Nice to continue the focus of previous episode in the differences being essential. Nodoka's experience when it comes to these enemies was important to fire her up and in turn fire the rest of the cast up. Simple, but effective.

A pretty good showdown with this one. The stakes are picking up and their enemies are getting stronger.

It was an awesome character-based episode. This season is very strong where it matters so far

A pretty good episode overall. At least with this new power up, Earth is more on equal footing with the rest of the team, sort of.

I would have appreciated Asumi becoming transparent when she felt down, cuz that detail about her seems already forgotten by a majority of fans

My opinion on this episode is divided into two parts and these two parts are conflicting with each other.

As a narrative it comes off as a bit weak. Not as weak as how STP gained Fuwa Cult Attack but isn't as strong as.... Go Princess? It is a bit below Hugtto at some part but better than Hugtto Cheerful style at some part as well so it is difficult. I have seen the product review before so it doesn't surprise me or anything. The narrative bring out some important points for the villain and main story but it is somewhat like a wasted opportunity to use it on the extra aka their teacher when we don't even know him that much so the impact of Special Healing Bottle (naming sense is dead) lessened by a quarter to half. It does brings a good movement for the cultivation of Healing Good team's bond as they're really a good team as well as the villain in regards to Shindoine power up using the Mega parts. The other Terabyogenz kinda hinted that it might not be effective as long term plan though albeit King Byogenz seems to have some plans. I put my bet that somewhere in near future that King Byogenz would use Shindoine as a sacrificial lamb or something to restore it to its full power.

For the animation, this is the best animated fight for a good long while and the sheer duration is the longest as well. It is nice to see that the Precure fly here and there, spam automated beam toward the enemy, and being badass in general. It feels like welcome back Precure fight in how they handles the whole fight. My only complaints is the finisher is going too fast that we can't see the super-form clearly (Fuwa Cult Attack is a bit better at that even if the chant is unnecessary af) and the background goes rainbow-purple shade-rainbow so it lacks the unity, it might be plain animation mistake but i can't be so sure. Also they call it as Arrow but shoot it like it is a beam so I went ???? since it is just funny for me.

We're back to character focus next, now how would they pump up the tension....

I liked the simpler attack. As long as it gets the job done, I can be happy with that.
