This is the very first time we got a recap episode in this franchise, I was surprised that there was no attack from the villains in this episode. However, I loved how they used this to their advantage and created a situation in which she can bond with the girls, and she will get to know them better. Even though this was filler, I still liked it, and the animation was great this week.

I do appreciate that they had this episode in advance after the 2020 Olympics that unfortunately didn't happen. That being said, I like that they are addressing how out of place Asumi is in general. The writers did a good job of acknowledging that she came in a point where the trio is getting stronger and might have hampered their development because of her. Its a subtle Asumi development episode and to be honest, I appreciate the decision that not every episode has to have a MoTW battle.

This was definitely pure filler. Let’s hope the money they saved from this episode will be used for something spectacular next week.

They actually did it. A Precure episode without a fight (not counting the flashbacks).

The madlads finally did it.

I saw some Japanese tweets mentioning how this was the first Precure episode without a obligatory MotW fight.
Kinda wish they would mean something in the long-run because tacked on MotW can certainly be an issue with episodes on ocassion, but it's probably just a one-off thing because of you-know-what and scheduling.

Best of luck getting that Higurashi review out on time!

Well considering the direction for the whole Healing Good (Natsume Yuujinchou-esque anime), it is actually an acceptable episode. At least it serves more to the plate than last episode wtf moment where it felt like a scrapped episode as a whole and no one is actually doing anything.

Anyway, it would felt weird if we watch it after the series is finished but if we watch it on air it is actually a good chance to refresh our memory on what happened early in the series. This series isn't as busy as Huggto but it is still busier than STP, Kira2, and MTP so it is normal to have one despite being cheap. I'm one of those who don't give an F about Asumi's OP power since, as you have said, she is born as weapon since day one. It is like a knife, if you buy a new one you look for the sharpest one and not the blunt one. So just like any weapon, Asumi being stronger is normal as she is weapon first and human later. It isn't like we'll be watching all of the fight, as long as the important fight is coreographed well, battle is more om coreography after all.

This is a very meh episode as it is just a recap episode, but I do like your review stated that Asumi felt left out, as she should since she is pretty much the odd one out of the group. Way too OP but still need to learn the basic of living as a human, and she does hinder the development of the team.

I also agree that this episode is a much needed breather episode for the staff as 2020 is such a hectic year, and I do wish the staff can get some much needed break before continuing on the story, and maybe try fixing whatever they can with Asumi.

I really liked this episode even if it was filler I just really like how the girls connect with each other and how they actually seem like a group of friends. Then again I also did binge watch all of Ojamajo Doremi which is basically just filler sometimes. I liked though

The description is pretty funny....and accurate. I understand why this episode exists but it doesn’t stop it from being abit on the redundant side. I hope your future video will work out better for you.

Flashback episode, in my Precure! Not great, not terrible. If they have time for filler episodes like this then I hope this means it will still be a full season long.

When Rabirin was telling Asumi why she choose Nodoka at the start I was thinking to myself “I don’t think Precure do flashback episodes” but then surprise surprise it happened… honestly I don’t remember this ever happening (at least from the seasons I watched).

Actually a pretty good episode. For a clip episode.

A clip show? I think this is the first time Precure has done this. But, really, a zombie script and a clip show? What's going on here? Here's hoping whatever this is has worked out of their system.

Also, beware morning glory. It can take over a garden and be almost impossible to get rid of.

For a recap episode, I liked this. I usually dislike recap episodes, however, I liked what they did with this one. Using it as a way to show the trio getting closer to Asumi.

Oh goodness, if it’s one thing I don’t like it’s recap episodes. It was really filler and actually if I’m being honest I didn’t really like this episode. I was disappointed that there wasn’t even a fight. Asumi’s Yukuta though is absolutely amazing.

Yeeeeah...Random Info: it aired on my birthday. ^^;;
I’m just...mmm...how to describe this This felt more like a Precure Short, not an “episode”. Where were the cadres? Did they took a day-off or something for once? Idk...I’m just having mixed feelings with this one. I know it’s filler but...this is “FILLER FILLER”, not like last week’s ^^;

Remember the whole nitpick thing I said last week about removing the whole “fight” and replace with “the talk” with Chiyu, Pegitan and Lily?? Why did they put said “talk” here?? I mean on one hand, it’s a great “character growth”(?) on Asumi buuuut...idk. I just felt off watching this…

The “conflict”? What conflict? It’s more into “character bashing” on her for being OP, especially lacking the teamwork aspect with the main trio, which NOW she’s aware of it?? Dang...took you long enough sweetie. Though I’ll give her a nod for having that look on Chiyu about what happened to Pegitan last week (which is good continuity :3)

Overall...skip this one. Not worth it. Not that it’s bad, like I get the reason (cause the obvious…) but...yeah. The only thing you’ll remember with this one is her cute yukata outfit. Just saying. Hopefully, with enough breather, they can be serious about this season cause right now, since Asumi joined the group, apart from her with Nodoka being the best ones, the rest after that is mostly ok to meh...this is just low meh in my book. Not terrible, not great either. Just skip this one ^^;

I agree, confusing timing and unnecessary episode, but pandemic and stuff... I would take eps like this one over making characters OOC or story taking weird turns like in Hapiness Charge.
I'm also glad to watch your reviews, how you dig into why this episode happened and how this season can be affected by hiatus a few monts ago.

So yea, considering this is the worst a fight-less episode precure can get, it's not that bad. It was actually refreshing and wish each season had like 3 fight-less episodes and maybe a few where the girls transform to help civilians or fight anything other than the season's bad guys.
