Personally, I did enjoy it, mainly due to Nodoka here even if the plot and pacing is a little messy. And I'd love for a video on what makes a great Pink lead!

Alright, I’m always up for more Symphogear reviews! I also would like to see that Pink Cure list as well because I’ve been having a problem with recent Pink Leads. Plus, with 16 of them existing and the varying opinions on them, I believe now is a good time to talk about them.

Ask for the episode, it’s actually pretty good. I found the Asumi rap pretty funny and I love the moment between Nodoka and Asumi for everything you pointed out.

Nodoka really is such a great lead pink character. She even helps alleviate the frustrations that comes from have an overpowered 6th ranger. I really like watching how Nodoka and Asumi bounce off of each other. The little framings to show that Asumi is looking at Nodoka in the background were nice touches.

So, yeah, Cure Broken's rampage continues.

However, what is important is the characterization and this show continues to have that in spades. Again, any writer worth their salt will tell you a good main character needs a wound. We see this hear with Nodoka if anything feeling what's happened to her cut her even deeper. As Azen said, he sickness probably forced her family to move to a less urban community and one of the generals was the infection that grew inside her. She is the driving force in this story which where a lead needs to be. And, more importantly, sometimes she goes in the wrong but believable direction. I still wonder if she is meant to be the anti-Hikaru.

The Nodoka storyline makes the episode, and there was a bit of development for Asumi as well.

And I also agree that Nodoka joins Hana, Haruka, Tsubomi and a few others as a really good Pink.

I think you should make that 'What makes a good Pink Precure' video, it's one of the most important elements of what makes a good or at the very least enjoyable Precure series and I'd love to hear your view on the matter.

i must say as someone who´s SO plays a brass instrument the portrayal of brass players this week is spot on. The passion most of those guys have for it is insane, i always feel so much motivation when i look at my boyfriend playng his hoorn . And thier music is also beautiful to listen to

I'm glad the 'smart' precure of the group decided the best tactical decision was to send their most powerful fighter...off to do crowd control. Yeah, that makes sense.

Kind of like how they didn't need the main characters to resolve the issues of side characters. Heck they helped spur Nodoka's development instead. The guy who looked like he'd be an annoying stick in the mud was actually a pretty good guy. And hey it didn't hurt either that the emotional moments of this episode were well done.

Looking forward to more Symphogear of course.

Alright! Back to this week! I wanted to talk about this episode after seeing the last one and I'm really glad the writers followed up on the initial conflict and didn't leave it hanging to dry! Overall and alright episode, but much MUCH needed for Nodoka's development.
I've seen people say that Nodoka basically gave birth to Dairuzen, but remember that a host does not equal a mother. You can have a tapeworm, but that doesn't mean you give birth to it once it develops, it simply uses your body to grow while killing the body it's within. Nodoka clearly is a host in this case and I honestly see her as one of the most unluckiest and sympathetic cures we've had in recent time. Say what you want, but the writers did such a good job showing the stakes for the characters this season and it will be fun if this keeps up obviously.

Nodoka is starting to be possible top 5 for me at this point, mainly because 1. not only is her pink characterization the most consistent it 2. also has long term lasting effects. Nodoka has something that other top 5 cures for me have and that is not only charm, but also being a good leader even in not so good episodes. Nodoka, even in her weakest moments so far has still mentally been one of the strongest pink leads we've had. She's gone through so much and it's really inspiring to see her get back up again when she's already been pushed down so much. It also helps that Nodoka is still suffering side effects from the initial infestation. She's still weak outside her precure form and the while she gets better it also shows she isn't magically cured.

It also helps that this larger scale conflict doesn't just affect her, but everyone too! How many other people were used to make Byogen generals? Dairuzen had to be in Nodoka for years to develop to be as strong as he is now. If that small of a Byogen was able to form from Nodoka again, who knows what will happen if they get to multiple people.

Overall, I wonderful review! Very interested to see a video on what makes a great pink.

Judging by the next episode's preview Shindoine is going to go all out and probably exit the franchise... I'm sad till the end she was given nothing to work with besides her "love" to king Byougen. After Bethetemoda arrived she got lost in the show.

I loved this episode! Nodoka's struggle was sooo interesting to watch and the conversation with her and asumi was very good! Can't wait for symphogear axz review and I'd love the pink cure lead video as much as I love all of them i want to see what you have to say on them. Though I seem to love pink cures that some people here and you don't like lol. I dont mind irs fun to talk about

This episode was odd...
Like I'm glad that while it isn't a physical after effect Nodoka did have the mental after effect of her hospital days, for better or worse. The pacing were rather off though since we get a sudden Asumi albeit I appreciate the rapping then the next part we get Eophinium stuff. The good moment were good though and Chiyu's little facial change is What is Pegitan Rap?

Aoyama's animation were in the low tier and while it isn't like I can't watch it.... I would end up laughing at the wrong place. When Asumi consoles Nodoka I... wheezed for a good few minutes since her face and the way she took Nodoka's hands. If it is any other better animated anime, they would took the shoot to shows Asumi reaching Nodoka's hands and well... not that shot for sure.

Next episode we have Shindoine go Super Saiyan.

Great review as always Azenzone. This episode was really good with Kamen Rider/Super Sentai reference, since I love both of them, and the scene with Cure Grace and Cure Earth was so wonderful 💖💜💖💜💖💜

This episode is another meh episode, but it does have some good moments with Nodoka. Once again, Nodoka in this episode has made me put her in my most favorite pink leads, with her not being perfect, trying to learn from her mistakes, and even take responsibility. Something that I really appreciate. I give Asumi some credit for comforting Nodoka, even though she shouldn't be able to understand human feelings but I will assume she is still using logic here. And dear lord, Asumi is still boring to watch even as she tried to rap.

With all the bottles all collected, well it seems they are not in a rush to get a new power up. Okay then. And Guwaiwaru is really wasting the Mega Parts that could've used to make more Terabyogens as I believe is far more efficient.
