So polite about it, that I liked.
So cleanly expressed and open with good advice, I subscribed.
Thank you.

Really great tips. Especially the anti dust feature. I was wondering if it was possible to keep it closed when changing lenses. Subscribed !

i have questions: if i get the 80gb type a memory it means i can only shoot around 120second video on it

2:21 I wouldn’t recommend getting two different types of cards. If you’re getting V90 cards, make them both V90, because if you get a V60 and a V90, you’re dumbing down the V90 card down to V60 speeds when shooting.

Excellent video, very good tips. Thanks for the information. I liked the information you give regarding the weights of the files, since others don't talk much about it. And yes, they are very heavy. The uncompressed raw 130 MB... Lossless compressed raw medium between 35 and 50 MB... And JPEG between 8 and 20 MB. I would have liked the big and small lossless compressed raw data. Just one doubt... There I learned that when using compressed raw without loss, whether large, small or medium, the resolution lowers... is this true? I mean, they say that the megapixels are lowering, they say that they would no longer be 61MPX photos, but rather photos of approximately 24, 14 and 8. That's right? We would like to hear your honest answer

I find hilarious the concerns about the sensor (which is very well protected by a layer of glass) and the suggestion to use the shutter to "protect" it. The sensor you can clean but that shutter... oh boy...

I read your blog post about dual base ISO's on the a7rv at: S-Log3 - 800, 2500 & No Picture Profile - 100, 320... My question is: Is 100, 320 the same for PP11. If not do you know what the dual ISO's are?

Helpful video. Just my 2 cents about low light and camera companies' marketing. This camera it's actually better in low light than the a7siii for photos. One can just download (from dpreview's site) photos taken at 12800 iso with these 2 cameras, resize the a7r5's photo to the same size of the a7siii's photo (just to be fair!) and compare them. The a7r5 is hands down better then the a7siii, even if you resize the image. It has way more detail and way less noise.
For video though the a7r5 just discard a lot of information using line skipping and pixel binning so the results will be worse than the a7siii that uses the whole surface of the sensor and has (a sort of) dual iso

I have had my A7RV get hot and drain the battery completely empty while it was powered off. It has also not powered back on after turning it off a few times. The only solution was to remove and then reinsert the battery. I searched the forums to see if anyone else has had this problem and apparently it is a problem several people have had. One person said he turned off the Dust Prevention feature and hasn’t had the problem again. Have you heard of or had this problem?

About the APP bug: have same problem with A7R4 and there is an APP setting called "Setting of the mode dial operation" that fix your problem.

I love the SD Card section! It is so hard to find proper information as to what video format needs what type of card.

I thought there was no crop in 4K 24. Crap, it’s only introduced at 4K 60 and above.?

Great video! You forgott to mention that anti dust function doesn't work in silent shooter mode activated.

Great video, thanks for the info. I'm just starting out with video on my A7R V and I can't get it not to crop. Then when i change to S&Q there seems to be no crop. All I find on the forums is to set my APS_C S35 to off, but the problem is clearly not there. Seems to me you know the answer?

I’m currently shooting with Sony A7R. Does the image stabilisation on Sony A7RV work with third party lenses like Tokina 85mm?

You say you're from Cleveland Ohio. I went over to the pixel connection right outside of Cleveland and trade it in some lenses that I didn't use and my a7riv and picked up the Sony A7R5 last spring. Love the camera.I am about 3 hours away. That's the closest camera store to me. A lot of new photographers think that if you get a new camera or the best camera you're going to take amazing photos. But you need good lighting and know what you're doing to get great photos.

It‘s a very nice cam! But for me. Nikon Z8 is the more balanced option

Can you answer why when I take a picture in 1600 ISO, it has a lot of noise. My A7IV does not have that problem. 🤦🏻‍♂️
