Thank you Mark, I have confessed my sin of gluttony to God, repented and asked for his forgiveness. And yes, now I must stay on this journey of self discipline in food and also overcome my emotional eating. It's my responsibility to make sure I utilize every resource available and affordable to me to help myself. But no lie, I want a miracle in this area, because the struggle is real and I have been at it for decades. I gave up smoking cigarettes years ago. And that was not easy and gave up some other bad habits which were indeed sin. I am praying God takes this food addiction and knock it out the ball park for me. Father God, I have made my petition known at your throne of grace, where I can receive mercy and find grace in my time of need. Lord, this is my time of need. Jesus, my High Priest and chief intercessor please talk to our Father about my situation, he will listen to you and do what you ask. Holy Spirit and Advocate, you see me trying really hard. I struggled so hard with this after my relationship with my wife crumbled. I feel like I've done everything I was supposed to and been obedient to God. She was in a new relationship before the separation papers were dry. I'll wait for God to reveal what he has for me.

I thank God for your your messages my brother in Christ, but I’m not your usual listener, as I’m 66 years of age!! So I’m an old!!😁But, your messages applies to everyone, and to every age. I can look back over my life, and I sure wish I had your messages way back when, as they would have been a wonderful source of help. As it was, I had to plot along on my own, and I didn’t to so good at the time. Now, looking back, I can see God was with me through it all, though I didn’t see it at the time. Your wisdom and advice is so godly, young people, listen. I have went through hell on earth, and still am. I broke up with my ex a year ago because our relationship was not meant to be. It was really hard to end things with him because he was a good person.
I miss his family a lot, and I miss being friends with my ex. But I know we weren't meant to be. It still is difficult, though.

How is it that you constantly crank out solid biblical advice that's practical? I've second guessed myself a lot in the past and it's gotten me nowhere. I'm going through some second-guessing now in regards to a career opportunity but I know also that if I don't take this leap, I know I'll regret it
