I use my roof which is still sketchy because they’ll spin up and it’ll start to move and slide across the roof. I avoid launching from the road or parking lots at all cost unless I have cardboard or something to lay on the road. There’s so many Ferrous / magnetic materials that will, I know for a fact, eventually get stuck in your motors

In stealth mode I launch from my truck's sunroof, without getting out. But the Air3 won't land on the glass part of the sunroof like my Air2s did. So, I hand catch it through the sunrook.
When it's 97 degrees like yesterday it's nice to fly in the AC, plus I lock the doors when wearing goggles.

Wait a bit before flying to let the satellites lock in, home point to set. Make sure you're not in Attitude mode or sports to make sure your obstacle avoidance sensors work

Launch it outside away, I've noticed they have a scary tendency to move sideways at first, anywhere.

The drone moved forward because you must have pushed the right stick. Just use left stick VERY slowly. Looks like no damage done

Oops! Crashed my 3 this week trying to land it three floors up on an abandoned seminary. I was just trying to line it up for the middle of the walkway and clipped a railing. Lucky it didn’t go down 3 floors within the building cavity 😬I should have used cine mode. My props were ok too, but my heart probably needs a reset.😂

My avata did some way out stuff yesterday when started flying it. On a flat surface it took off diagonally and crashed into a nearby chair. It has never done this. Not sure why it did this

never launch your drone from a conjusted area... air space should be clear atleat 1 square meter around the drone

It'll be more easier by just taking the drone out if your car. Put it on the ground and fly it.
