Ive tried everything to get a few old games working in win 11. Even Skyrim won`t work! But why are Steam not doing anything about it? As far as I`m concerned it`s back to playstation for me and no more spending on Steam games! If they can`t be bothered helping out why should I buy from them! Thanks for trying though.

I have tried everything but ever since my computer randomly forced me to update to Windows 11 without me noticing I literally fell asleep and it updated while I was asleep... My girlfriend and I did all these steps on her windows 11 hp gaming laptop. Even reinstalling it didn't help. She didn't have any interfering applications before, and hasn't installed anything that would. Anyone have any ideas?
